Richard Herman

Richard Herman is vice president, chief audit executive, at Air Products. Mr. Herman is responsible for leading the company’s Internal Audit team and for executing risk-based global internal audits, with quarterly updates to the Audit Committee; executing proactive compliance monitoring activities; leading all internal investigations pertaining to potential fraud, regulatory or compliance-related infractions; and the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance program.

Mr. Herman joined Air Products in 2003 as a participant in the company’s Career Development Program. He has held roles of increasing responsibility on the Americas Finance team and in the Treasury department. Mr. Herman most recently served as executive director, Finance & Controller for the Americas, before assuming his current position.

Mr. Herman holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University.
