Michael Zhang

Vice President and General Manager, Southern China 

Michael Zhang is vice president and general manager, Southern China, at Air Products. He is fully responsible for leading the profitable and sustainable growth of the company’s Industrial Gases business in the sub-region.

Mr. Zhang joined Air Products in 2001 as an operations project engineer and subsequently held various positions in China Electronics including operations engineer, design engineer, and onsite business development manager. In 2020, he was appointed business development director for China Onsite. Mr. Zhang was named deputy general manager for Southern China in 2022, prior to assuming his current position in 2023.

Mr. Zhang holds a B.S. degree in applied chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology.
